As so many of you have suffered from the birth control Yasmin and Yaz, or know someone who has. It is time we speak up. Here is a collection of t-shirt samples gathered by the suggestions of the women out there who is fighting to get their lives back.
We will ONLY SELECT ONE style t-shirt, except for when we are pill specific then we will have two (one for yasmin and one for yaz). So please submit your vote by making a comment here or send an email to yasmin_yaz@live.com on what t-shirt you like the best! Please respond by August 1, 2011

These are great Helena! Thank you for putting so much work into these. I like the Sisters United shirt the best. If were voting for pill specific then I like the I survived shirts.

ReplyDeleteI think its amazing that your getting the word out there! My best friend went through hell and back through this pill and i wouldnt wish that upon anyone! I personally like the "This is your body" design :) Keep up the great work in spreadng the word!

ReplyDeleteI don't know if you have already chosen which testimony quotes to use on the back of the shirts, but I wanted to share with you a small portion of my story. I won't go into details here, but basically, a person losing half their hair from Yaz is only the tip of the iceberg. I have lost ALL my hair...From my head and my entire body. I was even having issues with my fingernails as well, but that has since straightened out pretty well.
My personal opinion (for what it's worth) would be to highlight the absolute worst symptoms this pill can cause on the back of the t-shirt. I don't know if that is the plan or not, but please feel free to use my story/name if you would like. Great job on the t-shirts! :)

I don't know how you're gonna fit all of the side effects on the back of the shirt! Agoraphobia, amennorhea, anxiety, depression, loss of sex drive, loss of appetite, migraine headaches, acne, weight gain, weight loss, hair thinning, vaginal dryness, irritability, anger, nausea, diarrhea, constipation, etc. etc. etc.
Can't wait to see the ened result.
