So it has been 4 weeks since my first Nutrition Response Testing. As you might remember I had a major issue with my large intestine. Within 3 days of following the recommended supplements and also taking my new love FitLine I felt a difference. Yes, in THREE days!
Today, 4 weeks later I got the ticket of my large intestine being 100% recovered! I am so excited. My toilet visits are nicer and my acne is so much better!
Now my body is ready to start working on the next layer: Today we started to work on my cerebellum - hopefully with that my body can start to shed even more weight for my upcoming trip to Mexico in a few weeks. To see pictures of my 30 day update of following the bloodtype diet, taking FitLine "Cell energy", doing nutrition response testing, and exercising. Click here: One day at a time to perfect health
I am so happy that I have completely cut myself off from the traditional health care world, now I can finally heal my body and soul for real and all natural - the way my body intended.

FitLine - Boost your body's nutrition absorption!
I figured I would share some information about FitLine, the products I have been taking since late December 2010.
FitLine is a German company that produces and sells supplements through network distribution. The US headquarter is located outside Pittsburg, PA. Many of their products are world patented for their delivery system technology . The products are produced so that it can be absorbed by the body both faster and better, and therefore the amounts does not have to be as high as they are in regular pills. The body can absorb about 20% of a pill; with this absorption technology the body will be absorbing about 80%+ of what you are taking!!! A far better and more advanced approached then what we can get from the numerous of pills and brands at the drug store.
FitLine has many products ranging from weight management products and protein to vitamin and mineral supplements as well as more targeted supplements for heart health or similar. On the surface some of their products may look like any other low potent multivitamin product, but what separates them from the rest is the great delivery and absorption system.
And on a personal level – these products beats them all when it comes to taste! I actually drink my morning mix as my breakfast juice; it is really THAT good. All of their supplements are either in powder form that you mix with water or liquid drops that you mix with water.
Cell Energy
One of their pack products is called the Cell Energy Pack. It contains three products called Activize, Basics, and Restorate and from my To learn more about these products or other products available at FitLine, visit my website at http://fitline.com/?TP=6098012&cid=223
If you chose to call the company directly at 1(800) 686-1760 make sure to mention my
And if you already decided to go for it and sign up as a distributor just go to this website and fill out the information and you are good to go (you can also send me an email so I know) 6098012.pm-quickstart.com (Off course you can end your membership at any time).
I can only speak for myself - but I really like these products.

Birth Control Side Effects
Birth control is a subject that has become a mission bigger than myself... I feel a need to spread the word to everyone I speak with and I wish someone could have shared with me ten years ago what I know today... But on the other hand if someone would have done that - I would not have been here today, trying to work so hard for it.
Birth control in the form of IUD, Pill, Implant, Shot, Ring or Patch are a hormonal form of birth control. They are accepted as the NORM by many; including our parents, friends and doctors and are not questioned enough. What we learn about them are the so called benefits and not side effects - and in many cases the side effect is looked upon as that X% chance of getting pregnant... Off course getting pregnant will change your life forever no matter what you decide to do when you find out that you are pregnant and I am not trying to hide that... but there is so much more than that. So much that not many speak about, or even acknowledge as being related.
More often than NOT are our symptoms ignored, laughed at, or treated with medications that most often fail. Why, I do not know - but I am sad that it has to be that way... there are so many young wonderful women out there that need the support that are left alone to think that it is all in their heads.
I am here to tell you that it is NOT in your head - your symptoms are very much real and are related to hormonal birth control, (or hormonal treatment during menopause if you are at that stage in your life):
Your health comes first! It is really that simple. Without your health in tact you cannot care for your loved ones in the best possible way. Take care of YOU first! If you are taking hormonal birth control you should really sit down and ask yourself if it is worth the risks when there are so many other available options out there that does not include hormones when it comes to birth control (something I will be talking about in a later post). If you are a man reading this - I have only one thing to say - Please support your woman when she does not want to use hormonal methods of birth control, I beg you.

Weight Struggle - Want my Sexy Jeans Figure Back!
All of you that are following my blog know that I have been trying to lose wight for a while now and the struggle is hard. I have not given up, but I am almost running out of options it feels like. I used to shed weight only by thinking of it... well to be honest, I have never deeded to lose weight before but once I tried I would always succeed with little effort.
I feel a boot camp is needed in this case! A strict boot camp. The same boot camp I did before I got married... But I ask myself if I can, if I have the energy to do it. Back then I only worked 4 hour days and was able to concentrate on my training and diet with full force. Will I be able to do it again? Without a wedding and a wedding dress at the end?? What motivation should I use this time? My favorite pair of jeans that I haven't been able to ware for years?? (Yes I still have them and I brought them with me to the US when I moved too).
Maybe I CAN do it... Maybe if I got your help... Maybe I should start a SEXY JEANS BOOT CAMP on Facebook?? And people can join and we can fight together??? What do you think - would you wanna join me? Would you want to have a whole group of people trying to reach the same goal?? - Heck LET'S DO IT!! I will post a link to the webpage when I have it done! I need you guys, together we might reach better success!!! I am excited!

Protein Shakes - Watch out!
Time really going too fast one second and too slow the next - I can't keep up.
I am still working on my colon cleanse and I feel great about it and plan to once I am done to start drinking protein shake in the morning instead. As I was doing research I found a pretty disturbing article about the brands: 'Muscle Milk' and 'EAS Myoplex' apparently they are pretty dangerous to your health!!! Not because of the protein but because of some other horrible ingredients, that is not listed on the package:
EAS Myoplex Original Rich Dark Chocolate contain in 3 servings: 16.9 mcg Arsenic and 5.1 mcg Cadmium.
Muscle Milk Chocolate Powder and Vanilla Cream contain in 3 servings: 5.6 mcg Cadminum, 13.5 mcg Lead, 12.2 mcg Arsenic, and 0.7 mcg Mercury!!!
WOW - and just imagine - some pregnant women are taking this just to try to stay healthy without knowing what it really is! (Find the Report by Dr. Mercola - Warning: Some Protein Drinks Could Poison You).
Dr. Mercola in his article off course offers his advise and tell the reader to buy HIS whey protein... but there is no place where you can read the ingredients... so I decided to look for an organic whey protein somewhere else. This is what I found: Whey To Health by iHerb.com I think I will try it soon...
As far as my weight loss - it is still slow but I manage to break 165 lbs the other day which was a nice step... It goes up and down though and some days I get up to 168 lbs and some down to 166 on a regular basis. I believe that some more protein is what I am missing here. So that organic whey protein might help me out!

Random things
This is a summary of what is going on in my mind these days... It has been a lot and it does not slow down. I like it that way, but I tend to overdo things when I get started on something new.
So, since the reprogramming of my brain over the first weekend in June I am starting to grasp what is going on. We are about to start our next step in our journey and tonight is the first online session of a course called Rich Investor. It will basically help us build our Power Team - the people we need around us to succeed fast, safe, and legal. And tomorrow we are meeting with a CPA to set up our business.
Next we need to find an Attorney, then a Real Estate Agent, Mortgage Broker, Community Bank... and the list goes on. We are also looking for Rehabbers in the Philadelphia area, or someone that wants to buy a 'handy man' house.
On the baby clothing part of my life, a life that is getting drastically smaller, I finally got a hold of a baby girl to do some pictures with. I will post some of the items soon on my Etsy shop.
My weight loss is slow but I am still working out 5 days a week and have finally reached 60 minutes on the elliptical. 60 minutes feels like an eternity but lots of calories are burnt and I feel great! I keep my LCHF up and have become a little stricter with what I eat during the weekdays.
I also experienced some horrible bloating and cramps - not sure if they were feminine related or not so I decided to do a colon cleanse and it seems like it is going just great...
That was my random things for today... I just wanted to give you an update. I didn't want you to think that I had given up on things.. I am just busy trying to do everything I need to get done.

Memorial Day Weekend
Ohh... I think that we all can agree on that ONE single day extra off is amazing and does so much for your soul. I spent most of my Saturday to clean up the week-mess that I always have. Clothes are all over the place and dirty laundry is taking up the whole basket, the refrigerator is empty... you know, all boring things. But then I was free... Sunday and Monday the bikini did it's premier in day light. It is strange but I really don't like showing myself in that bikini at this point. I hate my body! I know I am basically showing my body to the whole world by having it on my blog, but it is not the same. You guys know I am trying to lose weight and the pictures actually shows my progress and/or set backs. It is an inspiration to both you and me... But having people stand there and look at me, who knows what they are thinking... "she really shouldn't wear that bikini" "did she look herself in the mirror"... and all those nasty things people can think or say to each other.
I know I am not pretty, I know I am not the size I want to be, I know all that, I really do. But I have the right to relax by the pool while I am working at it without people judging me. Or maybe the only person judging me is me???
Anyway I enjoyed the long weekend and I hope to be able to spend many days by a poolside this summer. And every time I should be a little bit slimmer.

I truly miss my best friend who is a fabulous massage therapist, she has helped me with some of my worst pains but she is on the other side of the Atlantic...

Overcome - don't give up!
After my almost two weeks into my new life I have noticed a few things:
Sugar/Carb cravings are not as hard as you think to overcome, I haven't felt it at all, except for at one point when I drove by a Dairy queen and said 'ohh a Blizzard would be nice' and then I remembered that I don't eat that anymore...
Second thing is that you can see improvements so fast! I teach dance and on Thursday I have an adult class that I dance with, not only teach. Yesterday I noticed that I didn't get as tired as I normally get. I think I have the elliptical to thank for that (or myself for using it, haha).
But I have also noticed that new things can hurt you a little. Yesterday I started to feel that my lower back and buttocks were getting tighter and very sore, today they are even worse. So this morning I dedicated on some well needed stretching and self massage. I have a feeling I am going to need more.
So what I really want to say with this is that unexpected things can happen and it is important to take them as challenges and try to overcome them rather than give up. You still have to focus on your goal, it might slow you down a little bit, but don't let it stop you!! You will grow even stronger by stepping over some hurdles you didn't count on.
Be strong and focus!

Day 4 to 7
The rest of my first week has gone pretty smooth. I have been able to start reading while on the elliptical and it saves me so much time, or even better - I can get in more than one hour of reading every day! So my road to my financial investment education is going even faster.
It is always harder to follow a certain diet over the weekend. You are used to having a drink or going for a nice Italian dinner... you have to be strong and keep reminding yourself why you are doing it! But I can also tell you that re-fueling your body with some extra carbohydrates one day a week is not bad, but can actually be beneficial. I am not saying to eat that whole pizza you have been craving for the entire week; that would be counter productive for you. I am talking about eating more fruit one day, or have sushi or similar. I am still saying no to wheat and sugar.
So some new meals I haven't mentioned so far are:
Ribs with steamed veggies - so so so good!!
I had chicken with mozzarella and eggplant on Saturday evening, it was hard to say no to the pasta that comes with it, but I survived!
Friday night I had sushi with some friends and it was very good. I also had two glass of Merlot.
Even though alcohol is something you should try to eliminate, I don't see too much harm in having it every now and then. We don't go out that often so when we do I don't feel bad about having a glass or two.
I also had a salmon lunch with green beans
My exercising have been the elliptical. I have increased the minutes to 45 minutes per session and hope that I can manage 60 minutes next week. I have also counted my dance class I teach on Thursday nights my cardio for the day. It is not as easy to give a value of lost kcalories but it is more than sitting in the office, that's for sure!
As a summary I can say that my mind is still focused and I feel good about what I am doing. I feel more awake during the day and my mind is much stronger than it has been in a long time. I know I will accomplish the results I am looking for here.
How are you guys out there doing?

Day 3 - Ohhh... my body is TIRED
The third day of my new life and I was very sore waking up. My back felt stiff and my legs felt like they were made out of lead. The exercise for the day was yoga/pilates/weights and I did a shorter yoga session by myself. I focused on a lot of stretching so some might say that it was not really yoga. But to get started for real with my yoga I need to warm myself up for it. It is not easy!
After work I went to a workshop that I signed up for over the weekend as a part of my new life achievements and have gotten one step closer to that airplane ;) The workshop was so exciting that I was literally bubbling inside; I just wanted to stand up and scream!! It is like someone just opened the door to a better life and I have not hesitated to step through.... inside the doors there is this stairway and I have just started to climb them. I signed up for a class about Investing in Real Estate that is going to be a 3 day course in the beginning of June, trying to get my hubby to come with me so we can learn together and be Powerful Together!!
30 minutes yoga and stretch - ??? kcal burned
Food
Breakfast - One Fage Greek Yogurt 2% (I really like the regular one but they don't have that one at the grocery stores around me) and some organic crushed rasberries
Lunch - Salad with Iceberg lettuce, tomatoes, swiss cheese and ranch dressing, diet coke
Snack - strawberries and cashews on my way to the workshop
Dinner - Fried mozzarella cheese. (Buy the nicest mozzarella you can find and slice it, rinse with cold water and roll them in crushed almonds, fry in pan with butter on both sides for a little bit. Eat right away) with tomato and extra virgin olive oil. Delicious!!
Supplements
Are same as always just go back to Day 1

Snack - strawberries and cashews on my way to the workshop
Dinner - Fried mozzarella cheese. (Buy the nicest mozzarella you can find and slice it, rinse with cold water and roll them in crushed almonds, fry in pan with butter on both sides for a little bit. Eat right away) with tomato and extra virgin olive oil. Delicious!!

Day 2 - Not as energetic
After doing my last pole dancing class on Monday night I was pretty sore and tired on Tuesday morning. I had planed to do 45 minutes on the elliptical but ended up not getting out of bed until 5:15 so I had only time for 30 minutes. At least I made sure I got to 400 kcal on that thing, but it wasn't as easy as the day before.

Horrifying I know! Nothing in the closet fits anymore and I feel like a fat slob! I have gone from a steady size 8 to a 12 in just a few months. If it is due to the birth control or not I don't know - but I think that some if it may be related. Since I stopped I have been facing horrible sugar rushes and think that my thyroid is a little out of function.
Anyway - that is who I am today and hopefully there will be less of me very soon ;)

Just a few tips
To be successful in weight loss there is a little more to it than to eat less and exercise more. We also have to make sure that the body is prepared for the sometimes big changes we will be going through.
So there is generally four things that you should NOT ignore:
So there is generally four things that you should NOT ignore:
- Exercise - this is very personal to us all depending on how much we are used to move around. For some a walk in the park could be hard and for some a 5k run is like warm-up. Normally best result is achieved by doing 60 minutes of cardio per day, 5-6 days a week. (you need a day of rest per week too). Make sure you are breaking a sweat! When you get the hang of it - interval training will boost your metabolism even more. So vary your training so your body does not get used to it and need more in order for you to loose weight.
- What you eat - The first and most important step in changing your diet is to get rid of your carb-cravings. This is easiest achieved by having regular meals, and rather eat too much than too little or eat more often than not, just so you don't get to the point where you just have to have that snickers or something similar. Normally it takes between 2 to 3 weeks to get rid of the cravings for sugar and other carbs so hang in there and don't give up! After you have stabilized your blood sugar and your cravings you can start putting up a good meal plan, with regular times. Some people say that more meals with less food is good, and others say that less meals with more food is ok too. I have tried them both and find that eating 6-7 times a day is hard - I just can't get it all in a day with everything that has to get done. I eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and will have two snacks during the day - that should do it for me. If you like protein shakes eating 6-7 meals might not be that hard but I can't stand them!
- Water - I am sure you all know to drink lots of water. But in a weight loss process the water is a way to flush your system and is crucial for success! If you aren't already drinking at least one gallon (4 liters) a day start NOW! If you have a hard time doing it get into the habit of drinking a large glass before every meal (it will not equal up to everything you need but at least it is a start).
- Supplements - Our bodies need to stay healthy in order to achieve our goals. If we don't take supplements we are bound to quit before we are done because we get sick... A cold or even sore muscles can make people quit. So supplements are more important than you would think. And I am off course NOT recommending a multivitamin or synthetic vitamins and minerals. All natural please! I will provide you with what I am taking in my first update.

I am on my way
Life after the holidays have been treating me well. I was bursting out of my clothes after a wonderful holiday full of chocolate... it was delicious!
As a follow up on my 2010 objectives I am doing very well in implementing the LCHF as a way of life rather than a diet. This means that I will have a small potato or a piece of cake every now and then. I am not letting myself go nuts. I am a person that wants what I cannot have - so if I tell myself that I cannot have cake - all I want is cake.Off course this is a much slower approach to reaching my goal, but also a friendlier way (for my mental health that is). I will not beat my self up if I do have a taste here and there. I only live once - right?!
I just have to learn to differ between a craving because I am hungry and a craving because it is that time of the month... I have been doing well on that part but it is not easy all the time. I have found that it is better for me to bring more food than I need in a day than too little because if I am hungry I will get a bad craving and there are plenty of vending machines around here... They should banned those things!
So with that said my goal is still to loose 13 kg or 28 lbs (from my starting point). My goal weight is 65kg / 143 lbs. I know it is going to be crazy hard once I start reaching the 68 kg / 150 lbs area but it will just have to take time. Time is all I have right?! AND I WILL GET THERE!! There is no doubt in my mind that I will. I am such a different person today than 4 months ago - I feel strong! It feels that I could overcome anything right now.
Along the line with living a healthier and happier life I have also started to do some weight lifting. I am mainly focusing on my upper body and my primary agenda is to work on my posture. I sit inthe office all day and get that horrible posture while sitting by the computer all the time. I want to strengthen my back and stretch my chest out so it will make me look a little bit better. Back exercises, biceps, triceps, abs, butt, and shoulders are my target areas to accomplish this. My legs get plenty of a work out in my dance classes.
